The considered terms of a private dining experience.

Every reservation with Chef Sibs Atelier begins with a personal consultation. Dates are held provisionally from the moment of enquiry and confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.

Reservations are accepted subject to availability and to the Atelier's discretion regarding suitability of the venue, guest count and date requested.

Menus are composed personally for each occasion following the private consultation. Ingredient selection is guided by seasonality, availability and the preferences discussed during that consultation.

The final menu is confirmed in writing no later than seven days prior to the experience. Substitutions may be made at the Chef's discretion should market conditions require it, without compromise to the quality of the experience.

A fifty percent deposit is required in order to confirm each reservation. The remaining balance is payable before service commences on the day of the booking. Guests may, at their preference, elect to settle the full amount at the time of booking.

Invoices are issued in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable.

Because every experience is composed personally, notice matters. The following terms protect both the guest and the Atelier.

Where a postponement is preferred to a cancellation, the Atelier will offer, at its discretion, a rescheduled date within ninety days at no additional deposit.

As Chef Sibs Atelier arrives in your home or chosen venue, a small number of facilities are required to deliver the experience to standard.

• A functioning kitchen with sufficient work surface, oven and cooktop
• Access to clean running water and refrigeration
• A dining space and table appropriate for the confirmed guest count
• Adequate power supply for service equipment
• Suitable lighting for both kitchen and dining areas
• Parking or access for equipment unloading on arrival

Where any of the above cannot be provided, the Atelier will advise on suitable arrangements during the consultation.

Guests are asked to confirm the final headcount, dietary details and venue address no later than seven days before the experience.

Guests are responsible for ensuring the venue is accessible, safe and ready to receive the Atelier team on the agreed arrival time.

Chef Sibs Atelier reserves the right to decline or discontinue service where the safety, dignity or wellbeing of the team or other guests is compromised.

In such circumstances, no refund of the deposit or balance shall be due, and the Atelier accepts no further liability arising from the discontinuation of service.

Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform under these Terms where such failure is caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disaster, extreme weather, civil unrest, government restriction, illness or interruption of essential services.

Where such circumstances arise, the Atelier will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the experience at a mutually convenient date.

Chef Sibs Atelier may occasionally capture photographs or short video clips of plated dishes, table settings or the dining environment for promotional purposes.

No guest will be photographed or recorded without prior permission.

Guests are welcome to take photographs and share their experience on social media. We kindly ask that Chef Sibs Atelier is credited where possible.

While every reasonable effort is made to accommodate allergies and dietary requirements, Chef Sibs Atelier cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment, as ingredients may be prepared in facilities where common allergens are present.

Guests with severe allergies must notify Chef Sibs Atelier before confirming their booking.

Chef Sibs Atelier currently operates as a BYO (Bring Your Own) dining experience unless otherwise stated.

Guests are responsible for supplying their own alcoholic beverages where permitted by law.

The duration of each dining experience varies depending on the selected menu and number of guests. Estimated service times will be provided during the booking process.

Chef Sibs Atelier reserves the right to adjust the timing where necessary to ensure the highest quality of service.

Travel within the agreed service area may be included in your quotation.

Additional travel, accommodation, parking fees, tolls, ferry charges or venue access costs (where applicable) will be quoted separately before confirmation.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to Chef Sibs Atelier equipment through negligence or misuse.

Chef Sibs Atelier accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to guests' personal belongings during the dining experience.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

By confirming your reservation and paying the required deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions in full.
